What a delightful product! It is amazingly easy to set up and is
unbelievably flexible. Thanks for the thoughtful inclusion of the
appropriate Allen wrenches and the Velcro cable strips. I was wondering
what I was going to do for quick attachment and detachment. You solved that
problem before it happened.
I'm not an engineer, but I can also appreciate the solid yet simple
design. I'll be using my Airdesk for years to come. Thanks for a really

I received and set up my AirDesk a few days ago.
I work as a computer programmer and technical writer at home in a very
large, overstuffed LazyBoy. It took a bit to get the AirDesk arranged so
my laptop was positioned directly over me. The arm is right at its end and
the mast is pushed right up into the stuffing of the chair's arm with the
base under a leg of the chair.
Getting used to using the AirDesk was a trick. Every time I swung the arm
away I was concerned the platform holding my heavy laptop would slip and
spill the laptop onto the hardwood floor.
At first I thought I'd return the AirDesk for a refund as it seemed
clumsy, but after using it now for several days my affinity for the
AirDesk has increased to the point where I am really starting to like it,
maybe even love it!
I'm sure you must already know this, as your design certainly exemplifies
it, that brilliance in engineering is evidenced in simplicity. I really
admire your design. It is brilliant. And, the quality of the
components is excellent.
For the last six months or so I've been thinking of different ways of
working with my laptop so it would swing away from me when I wanted to
stand up and I am no slouch when it comes to designing mechanical
solutions (I
come by it honestly), but none were as elegant as yours.
My hat's off to you, Ed. Thanks for making my life a little bit easier!

It is indeed a terrific item. Exceeds my expectations.

If
I haven’t written in this last “Year of the Air Desk” its because I
have been so comfortable sitting on the couch with all my little foster
dogs who are now happy that I don’t have to sit in a chair at a desk to
work. My life has changed for the better in so many ways! No more spilled
drinks like before when the dogs used to jump on my desk. I got the drink
holder accessory! And I use a second drink holder for a cup with pencils
and pens..no more stolen pens since I mounted it at the top of the taller
desk.
“Ease of assembly” is usually a fraudulant claim, yet I not only put
the desk together in minutes, I actually understood the logic of brilliantly
simple design. I spent weeks researching desks and this is the top of the
crop with no competition, superior in design and value.
One last advantage..animals do not like to walk on plexiglass because they
think they are going to fall through it so there is no pet hair on my
laptop anymore!

the desk arrived yesterday (Friday the 24th) and my children set
it up for me. The instructions were easy and well as the set up.
Every part we needed arrived in the one package and there was no additional
duty as it was by USPS and not UPS which was perfect.
This
is good for me as the set up and functionality is perfect. I am
allowed to see and reach everything with ease.

Ergonomic Review:
I have been a proud owner of the AirDesk for over three months now. There
are few superlatives that should be spared when describing this product. As
a 24 year veteran Chiropractic Sports Medicine Physician I continually have
an eye on ergonomic value. I have been using a Laptop since 1987, and over
the years I have developed a system of pillows and supports to help me
battle fatigue and numbness and tingling when ever I have extended sessions
on my computer. Just after I purchased my new PowerBook 17 and it slipped
off of my lap and caused close to $300.00 in damages, I immediately scoured
the WWW marketplace for the best Computer station device, for us
multi-tasking, news/tv watching couch potato’s. I came across the AirDesk
in my first Google search. Its functional simplicity, value and design
features immediately caught my fancy. It was a no brainer purchase that I
can only say is one of the best Medically Necessary devices in the Computer
Market Place today.

This morning,
I'm watching the news and surfing the web from the comfort of my easy
chair thanks to my AirDesk. I thought I should drop you a line and
let you know how indispensable it is to me. Here's a testimonial:
I've used my
AirDesk every day for several hours a day for over three years and
it's still as good as new. It is absolutely indispensable to me. I'm a
marketing consultant and I work on my laptop all day -- sometimes I
work at my desk, but at other times I just have to get away from my desk
or I'd go nuts. That's when I take my wireless laptop to my AirDesk and
work from my easy chair -- then it doesn't seem so much like work.
And I don't
just use my AirDesk for work. In the evening while I'm
relaxing, I enjoy surfing the web while watching television -- I like the
History Channel. AirDesk allows me to look up information about the
programs I'm watching even while I'm enjoying them. A TV tray just doesn't
cut it for surfing from the couch -- you have to hunch forward and then
every time you want to get up, you have to move the whole table. C-shaped
side tables that extend over the arm of the chair are also inadequate --
they're too high and the keyboard must be at an awkward angle.
I've
researched computer tables very thoroughly on the web and can positively
say that only AirDesk's unique design provides a true ergonomic solution
to using a computer from a couch or easy chair. When not using your
laptop, it is conveniently out of the way. Then when you want to use it,
you can swing it effortlessly in front of you. It sits just inches above
your lap within easy reach and you can adjust the keyboard angle for
comfortable typing. Perhaps most importantly, the separate platform for
your mouse can also be adjusted to a convenient position. I recommend
getting the additional shelf -- it's handy for holding your glasses, a
book, etc. I really don't see how the AirDesk design could be improved!

Hi. It's been about three weeks of
owning the Tall Air Desk and I must say, I'm convienced! It works
like a charm, very practical, and it's flexable as heck! I use
it while standing, sitting and while in bed. And it easily
adjust to either position. I have already recommended it to
others.
With the various compoents I use such as a cip-on
light, Smartphone/Palm cradel, etc., I still need to work on the birdsnest
of cords.

Just a note to tell you how very satisfied I am w/ my Airdesk! I find I use my laptop much more frequently because it is
readily available w/o the trouble setting it up and holding it on my lap.
It did not have a home base so I found I put it back in the carrying case
to get it out of the way. Now

I just wanted to tell you
how pleased I am with my new Airdesk. Assembly was very easy, and
the design and quality of the parts are A-1. I suffer from
Fibromyalgia, and I'm in constant pain. My recliner is the only thing that
is comfortable for me. I can only use my desktop computer for a couple of
hours, then I am hurting so badly that I have to quit and head for the
recliner. Now I can enjoy both T.V. AND the internet using my laptop from

I just ordered an additional shelf for my Airdesk.
I have had the Airdesk for about a year now...right next to my bed which
is where I do all my computing...so it goes back and forth a lot,
as I exit and enter the bed. Just to let you know, that it works as

I recently ordered (2) of the
“air desks” for my wife and I. They were very easy to assemble. I
concealed my power cords using inexpensive “spiral” wrap and zip ties.
It is truly a quality piece of equipment that I’m sure will last us well
into the future. We liked the looks of your desks so well that we coupled
them with (2) new Ekornes Stress less chairs. Now we are drenched in
comfort and can work for hours without moving from our chairs and desks.
Thanks for a well engineered product. I would recommend your desk to
anyone who wishes to work in total comfort without having to constantly
adjust their position or angle to their work. I can truly see how your
product would help with neck and back pain also.

I just wanted to say how much I am enjoying my AirDesk... I am a new
student and have owned a laptop for 2 years and used it on the coffee
table which caused all sorts of problems. You AirDesk is really
comfortable and easy to use, and I really like it a lot. It is best when it
is wedged under some furniture, especially if the vertical bar is
stabilized against something so it doesn't wobble as much. Everyone who

it. Boy, I can't tell you how happy I am with this thing; It's
wonderful! I may just get another for bed, and wish I had it a LONG
time ago. I've tried so many arrangements to get comfortable with a
laptop, but nothing worked till now. Everything has been okay for a
few hours, or days, but they've always ended up not working in the
long-run, the result leaving me half crippled, with back pain or
twisted neck, etc, and I always found myself back in a regular office
chair at a table to recover. This is going to work ergonomically in a
comfortable chair. Horray!
